Gary A. Cummings

NEBB Certified Professional
President

As President of Pro-Tech Diversified Services, Inc. and as a National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB) Certified Professional, Mr. Cummings oversees daily operations and performs report review and certification.

Prior to obtaining certifications from NEBB, in 1999 Mr. Cummings was certified through the Associated Air Balance Council (AABC) as a test and balance engineer (Certifications #99-09-32). Mr. Cummings also holds a Certification of Refrigerant Recovery through the Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (Certification #079203504). Mr. Cummings is also an associate member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers, Inc. (ASHRAE) and is currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors for the Florida chapter of the National Environmental Balancing Bureau.

Prior to transitioning into the test and balance industry in 1992, Mr. Cummings was employed as an HVAC service technician where his duties included the sales, servicing and troubleshooting of HVAC systems. In 1989, Mr. Cummings completed an extensive training course at Tampa Bay Vocational Technical School in HVAC systems design, operation and service. With over 19 years experience in the HVAC industry, Mr. Cummings has had the opportunity to be involved with various projects both at home and abroad.


Steve W. Mullins

NEBB Certified Technician

Mr. Mullins entered the test and balance industry in 1990. During his career he has performed in various capacities. Mr. Mullins current responsibilities are field testing, project procurement, project management, and estimating. Mr. Mullins has had extensive training and experience in HVAC testing and balancing during his 28 years in the industry.

Mr. Mullins project management experience included written documentation and accurate reporting of deficiencies, liaison for contractors, subcontractors, owners and engineers, as well as performing the testing and balancing of the HVAC systems. He also has vast experience in the hospital environment. He has been involved in many hospital renovation projects throughout the State of Florida.

Many of Mr. Mullins recent projects has been in the Educational sector. Managing several fast paced projects to successful completion is his expertise. His ability to work together with all the team members in meeting the challenges and demands of every project is invaluable.

In 1998, Mr. Mullins passed exams administered by the Associated Air Balance Council (AABC) to become a certified technician. Upon employment with Pro-Tech Diversified Services, Inc., Mr. Mullins has improved his resume by passing the required written and practical exams to obtain certification from the National Environmental Balancing Bureau. (NEBB).

 


Roddy Quinones

NEBB Certified Technician

Mr. Quinones began his career in testing and balancing of HVAC systems in 1992. In 1994 he obtained an Associates Degree in Engineering of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. He has also completed periodic OSHA training courses and possesses current 30hr safety certification.

Mr. Quinones extensive career has afforded him the opportunity to gain experience certifying HEPA filters, performance testing of Clean Rooms, and Building Systems Commissioning as well as HVAC Testing & Balancing.

Since his employment began at Pro-Tech Diversified Services, Inc., Mr. Quinones has had the opportunity to assume Lead Technician responsibilities on various projects.

His current responsibilities are performing required tests and balancing of HVAC systems, as well as documentation and accurate reporting of deficiencies within NEBB Standards. Mr. Quinones’s attention to accuracy and detail make him one of our most valuable assets.

Mr. Quinones successfully passed the NEBB Certification Exam and continues to strive for excellence in his project assignments.


Emilio Gonzalez

NEBB Technician

Mr. Gonzalez entered the test and balance industry in 1989. During his career he has performed in various capacities. Mr. Gonzalez’s current responsibilities are field testing and project management. Mr. Gonzalez has had extensive training and experience in HVAC testing and balancing during his 30 years in the industry. Mr. Gonzalez has played a key role in various Pharmaceutical and Multi-Story hospital projects.

Mr. Gonzalez’s project management experience included written documentation and accurate reporting of deficiencies, liaison for contractors, subcontractors, owners and engineers, as well as performing the testing and balancing of the HVAC systems.

Mr. Gonzalez has completed the 30 hours OSHA Safety training course and participates in our company safety meetings on a regular basis.

Mr. Gonzalez is currently seeking NEBB Certification and is scheduled to complete this endeavor by Fall of 2019.

Hector Gonzalez

NEBB Technician

Mr. Gonzalez entered the test and balance industry in 2004. During his career he has performed in various capacities. Mr. Gonzalez’s current responsibilities are field testing and project management. Mr. Gonzalez has had extensive training and experience in HVAC testing and balancing during his 14 years in the industry. Mr. Gonzalez has played a key role in several large Multi-Story hospital projects in Florida.

Mr. Gonzalez’s project management experience included written documentation and accurate reporting of deficiencies, liaison for contractors, subcontractors, owners and engineers, as well as performing the testing and balancing of the HVAC systems. He has extensive knowledge of DDC control programs such as KMC WinControl & Backstage, Johnson Controls Metasys, Trane Tracer Summit, Rover and Everyware.

Mr. Gonzalez has completed the 10 hours OSHA Safety training course and participates in our company safety meetings on a regular basis.

Mr. Gonzalez is currently seeking NEBB Certification and is scheduled to complete this endeavor by Summer 2018.

Michael Gonzalez

Mr. Gonzalez entered the test and balance industry in 2006. During his career he has performed in various capacities. Mr. Gonzalez’s current responsibilities are field testing and project management. Mr. Gonzalez has had extensive training and experience in HVAC testing and balancing. Mr. Gonzalez has played a key role in various Multi-Story hospital projects.

Juan Marrero

NEBB Technician

Mr. Marrero began his career in testing and balancing of HVAC systems in 2008.

Since his employment began at Pro-Tech Diversified Services, Inc., Mr. Marrero has had the opportunity to gain experience performing HVAC Testing & Balancing on several high profile projects.

His current responsibilities are performing required tests and balancing of HVAC systems, as well as documentation and accurate reporting of deficiencies within NEBB Standards.
